This variety was developed in 1996. Pilgrim King is a cross between Pilgrim and GH2. This variety yields the largest fruit of all varieties. The vines have a thick stem and the fruit lays deep into the canopy. It is a midseason variety with harvest the last week of September. The fruit is very large, round, firm, and meaty. Very high yield on average.
