This variety was developed in 2009. Badgers are a cross between BG and [Benlear X Stevens]. It is a sibling of Crimson King and similarly high yielding. The fruit is oblong football shaped. It has a very low canopy and the fruit tends to lay on the top. Color comes midseason, with harvest at the end of September.
